三年半前曾提到這第 164 街自流井. 不過那時 Google Maps 還沒有這街圖功能. 所以現在又重貼了一次.

Well No. 5 或稱 the 164th Street Artesian Well: 這是屬於 Alderwood Water District 所管轄, 提供居民免費的沒有水廠處理過的地下水. 如果你有喝茶的習慣, 一定要來試試從這水井的水泡出來的茶. (別忘了要自備儲水桶哦)

另外 Initiative Measure 985 concerns transportation (非尖峰時刻讓單人車輛行駛 HOV)是失敗中, Initiative Measure 1000 concerns allowing certain terminally ill competent adults to obtain lethal prescriptions (安樂死)是過關中, Initiative Measure 1029 concerns long-term care services for the elderly and persons with disabilities (安養人員需要領有執照)是過關中.

最後西雅圖市 Proposition No. 1 - Pike Place Market Levy (整修 Pike Place Market)是過關中, Proposition No. 2 - Parks Levy (增加和整修西雅圖市的公園)也是過關中.

由此看來, 明年的稅率將會上漲. RTA (Regional Transit Tax) 將會讓西雅圖市的營業稅從現在的 9.0% 上漲至 9.5%. 另外 Pike Place Market Levy 和 Parks Levy 也會讓西雅圖市的房屋稅上漲一些.

Due to mechanical difficulties, northline Sounder trains to Everett may depart King Street Station approximately 10 minutes late. Southbound trains to Tacoma are not affected. Please check back as updates are available.

]]> http://andy.leck.com/index.php?entry=entry081026-224616 加拿大溫哥華的冬季奧運, 今年的 2008 Skate America 為視為美國花式溜冰奧運前的第一場前哨比賽. (2010 年在華盛頓州 Spokane 的 2010 US Figure Skating 將會是奧運前最後一場比賽). 和最囉嗦的小朋友一起去看比賽, 還好去看的人不多. 讓我們在場地換了三次位置, 保持他的耐性... :-p 不過我想韓國人至少有五百人以上, 都是去為 Yu-Na Kim 加油的.

Driver using cell phone blamed in I-5 crash

只是昨天當醒來的時候, 發現竟然還在 Mountlake Terrace!!! 看看時間, 六英哩的高速公路竟然開了要 25 分鐘. 整個高速公路就像是個停車場. 原本擔心前晚太晚睡, 不知道昨天是否有能力在上班時不要睡覺了. 看情形就不用擔心, 就這樣的多睡了 30 分鐘... ^_^
